Introducing Jaime Arias, our 13th ambassador
We are delighted to introduce our 13th ambassador, Jaime Arias, CNRS research engineer working at the Laboratoire d’Informatique de Paris Nord (LIPN).
Jaime is an advocate of replicable research and open-source software. Among some of his missions, he is in charge of the development of scientific tools for the research team LoVe (Logique et Vérification) at LIPN, and contributes as a reviewer of the ReScience C journal which ensures the replication of already published research, and recommends archiving software artifacts in Software Heritage, and referencing them with their SWHID.
The main reason he became an ambassador of Software Heritage is to help the research community become more involved in reproducible research/software and learn directly from the experts.
If you want to contact Jaime or to learn more about our mission, you can contact him by email at arias at lipn.univ-paris13.fr.
And do not forget! We are looking for enthusiastic organizations and individuals to volunteer as ambassadors to help grow the Software Heritage community. If you too want to become an ambassador, please tell us a bit about yourself and your interest in the mission of Software Heritage.
