Towards a Software Pillar for Open Science at OSEC 2022 (5/2/2022)
During the five years celebration event held on November 30th at UNESCO headquarters, software and open science were on the centre stage, with a presentation of the second french National Plan for Open Science and the UNESCO recommendation on Open Science, approved by the member states just a few days before.
We are delighted to share the news that software will be one in the limelight at the Open Science European Conference (OSEC 2022) on February 4th and 5th 2022: a full session «Building the Software Pillar of Open Science» will take place on Saturday, February 5th, followed by the announcement of the results of the first edition of the french national awards for open-source software in research.
This high-level event is organised in the framework of the French Presidency of the European Union, with the participation of top-level personalities. It will take place online, with simultaneous translation in English, French and Spanish: you can register here to attend.
