University of Duisburg-Essen

The University of Duisburg-Essen (uni-due) is committed to the principles of Open Science, which is an integral part of its mission in research and teaching. Transparency, reproducibility of research results, and openness are fundamental aspects of the university’s profile. As part of its leadership in the NFDI consortium for research data management in Computer Science (NFDIxCS) the Ministry of Culture and Research of NRW has granted funds to build a mirror server for the Software Heritage Archive. The Archive plays a crucial role in achieving the objective of enabling the reproducibility of research results. Software, particularly research software, is a vital component in scientific research. The University of Duisburg-Essen is proud to provide the mirror service as part of a network of servers, thereby offering a robust resource for science and technology.
