Wayne Graham is Chief Information Officer and Director of Informatics, Cultural Networks, and Knowledge Systems at the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR). He brings over two decades of experience in digital preservation, open infrastructure, and research technology, with a focus on initiatives that bridge cultural heritage and computational systems. His leadership spans projects such as the Digital Library of the Middle East, Hidden Collections Africa, and Re:Mind, which promote sustainable access to at-risk and understudied collections through collaborative digital platforms. With a background in history and digital humanities, Graham has held prior roles at the University of Virginia and the College of William and Mary, and is a frequent contributor to international conversations on the intersection of cultural heritage, technology, and open knowledge.
