Informatics Europe

Informatics Europe

With this letter we would like to express Informatics Europe’s support to the “Software Heritage” project.

Informatics Europe fully support the projects’ mission of collecting, organising, preserving and sharing all the software that lies at the heart of our culture and our society by creating a largest, curated, and public archive of software artifacts, together with extensive metadata.

Informatics Europe is the association of computer science departments of universities and research laboratories, public and private, in Europe and neighbouring areas. The association represents the academic and research community in Information and Computer Sciences in Europe. Bringing together university departments and research laboratories, it creates a strong common voice to safeguard, shape and stimulate quality research and teaching in Informatics in Europe.
